The flotation machine is a kind of mechanical equipment that realizes the froth flotation process and selects the target mineral from ore. Since it was equipped with a concentrator in the early 20th century, its structural design has been greatly developed after many years of development.
How It Works
As the impeller rotates, the slurry in the tank is sucked from the lower end of the impeller to the gap beween the impeller blades. At the same time, the low-pressure air fed by the blower enters the same place through the air shaft of the hollow shaft and the air distributor of the impeller. After the slurry and the air are pushed upward from the periphery of the upper impeller after they are fully mixed in the gap between the blades. The stator then stabilizes and orientates the mixture to enter the tank. The bubbles first rise to the foam stabilizating zone. After the collecting process, they overflow from the overflow weir and enter the foam tank. Another portion of the slurry flows into the lower part of the impeller, and then is stirred and remixed by the impeller to form mineralized bubbles. The remained slurry flows into the next tank until it eventually becomes the tailings.
Classification
There are many models for our flotation machine mainly including SF series, BF series, KYF series and XCF series, among which the BF series flotation machine is developed on the basis of the SF series one.

3. It is equipped with liquid automatic control and electric control devices to enhance foam refinement and flotation effect.
4. The impeller of the stirring device is made of grinding rubber to improve its wear resistance.
5. The impeller consists of a closed double-section cone that can cause strong sub-slurry cycle.
6. With the functions of sucking air, sucking slurry and flotation, each slot can form its flotation circuit by itself without any auxiliary equipment.
7. The reasonable slurry circulation can minimize coarse sand sedimentation.
8. It has high sucking capacity and low power consumption.
1. They adopt a U-shaped tank, a hollow shaft inflation device, a suspension stator and a new cone impeller that is similar to high-speed centrifugal pump wheel. Also, they have slurry in a large amount, a small pump head, low power consumption and simple structure.
2. A porous cylindrical air distributor is installed in the impeller chamber to allow air to be dispersed uniformly in most of the impeller blades in advance, providing a large slurry-air contact interface.
